Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania
In the shadow of downtown Pittsburgh's skyscrapers where the Monongahela and Allegheny
rivers meet to form the Ohio, is Fort Pitt, where the city saw its beginnings.
The walls of the fort no longer stand, but there is a history at the fort full of stories of
hauntings.
It was here where the battle of Grant's Hill was fought during the French and Indian War.
Many died on these grounds.
A museum is now housed in the recreated Monogahela Bastion. This museum seems to be the
location of most of the strange activity.
Security guards on watch during the night, see people appear on their security monitors just
to disappear a second later. A location check reveals no sign of anyone.
Objects disappear in the museum, only to be found elsewhere. These objects are replaced,
only to be moved again.
It is said that a reenactor was killed on the site of the fort. Perhaps his spirit is
responsible for the many strange noises heard from otherwise empty parts of the museum and
grounds.
Brick lines mark the areas where the fort's defensive walls once stood, acting as ghostly
reminders of the massive fort that once used to stand on this site.
